Pattern Thinkers Studio was founded by Colleen Blows, whose unusual path from electrical design engineering to psychology shaped a different approach to children's educational books.
Engineering brought a love of systems, structure and understanding how individual parts connect to a bigger picture. Psychology brought an understanding of how differently minds engage with, organise, and make sense of information.
Those perspectives come together in carefully structured expeditions that encourage children to connect discoveries, spot patterns and build understanding as they progress.
